Hi Steven
A big THANK YOU.  I put that in the head of the page for that one only and it now seems to work fine without affecting the rest of the site.  I'll try and remember that for the next time I encounter a problem.  Cheers!

Cheers.  I checked that out, something about setting a height in the css.  I felt sure I'd done that, and even copied from the index.html file? This is from the head of the gallery page.

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/swfobject/2.2/swfobject.js"></script>
        <script type="text/javascript">
            var flashvars = {};
            flashvars.galleryURL = "gallery.xml";
            var params = {};
            params.allowfullscreen = true;
            params.allowscriptaccess = "always";
            params.bgcolor = "222";
            swfobject.embedSWF("simpleviewer.swf", "flashContent", "100%", "60%", "9.0.124", false, flashvars, params);
        </script>

        <style type="text/css" media="screen">
            html, body    { height:100%; }
            body {
                margin:0;
                padding:0;
                overflow:auto;
                color:#666;
                font-family:sans-serif;
                font-size:20px;
            }

</style>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../style.css" />

So, I thought perhaps it has to do with the style.css linked style sheet.  However, in that:

html, body {
height: 100%;
margin-bottom: 1px;

}

and I added:

#flashcontent {height: 100%;}

but it still doesn't show ????

Hi.  The site is:

http://www.gravesendcameraclub.org.uk/web/gallery2.html

Check out the page source: it seems OK to me and looks like the others sites I've done, unless I'm missing something obvious.

The only thing I've done is moved the .html page into the /web folder and it works fine in Safari.
(tearing hair out in clumps!)

Please can you help a newbie?
I've used SimpleViewer very successfully on a number of gallery pages on a number of websites.  I have just re-done a gallery page for one site and it shows just fine in Safari but not in Firefox 3.6.9 which is maddening because the other web pages that I have live show the galleries just fine.  What also puzzles me is the <div> which includes the default "SimpleViewer requires JavaScript and the Flash Player. " just doesn't show at all.  I have had a read of past threads, cleared the browser cache but it doesn't seem to make any difference.  What am I doing wrong?

Many thanks.

Hi.  I'm new to the forum and simpleviewer.  Seems like a really nice product.
I'm working with a fixed-width 2 column blog-type layout.  I've managed to trial manually putting the compact version into the wider, right-hand column which looks fine.  However, its kicked out the narrower left-hand column which now appears underneath the gallery.  I'm not sure how to fix it.  I've made the image width fit the column width (slightly less than the column width) but that still doesn't fix it.

Any suggestions?
Many thanks
