If you look at the source for each page the page the works is using SWFObject to embed the gallery and the page that your are having issues with is using Object tags to embed the gallery. I would switch the gallery that is not working to the SWFObject method.

SWFObject embed method

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/swfobject/2.2/swfobject.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars = {};
flashvars.galleryURL = "gallery.xml";
var params = {};
params.bgcolor = "222222";
params.allowfullscreen = true;
params.allowscriptaccess = "always";
swfobject.embedSWF("simpleviewer.swf", "flashContent", "800", "600", "9.0.124", false, flashvars, params);
</script>

Object embed method

<object width="800" height="600">
    <param name="movie" value="simpleviewer.swf?galleryURL=gallery.xml"></param>
    <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param>
    <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param>
    <param name="bgcolor" value="222222"></param>
    <embed src="simpleviewer.swf?galleryURL=gallery.xml" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="800" height="600" bgcolor="222222"></embed>
</object>

Dear Miker,

Dear miker

it's driving me crazy!

The problem i'm going to show you is certainly be performed using ie8 AND ie7.

in this page it doesn't work
http://www.adrianorippa.it/Claudia/index.html

BUT

in this page it works!!!
http://www.adrianorippa.it/Yulia/index.html

also in soime other galleries works and not in many others (in the most recent one it doesn't work and it works well in the older ones...)

PLEASE LET'S CONSIDER AND VERIFY THAT
- the index.html are perfectly the same (copy and paste!)
-the version of simpleviewer too. also the gallery.xml is the same (just images and related url change).
- it works well using firefox.

What should I do?

Thanks in advance!

Dear Mike,

I tried your suggestion but it still doesn't work (i'm trying locally  so on the web you will see the same code).

Perhaps do you have any other suggestion?
thanks!!

There are some problems with how your embed code is spaced the may be throwing off the browser.

<object width="800" height="600"><param name="movie" value="simpleviewer.swf?galleryURL=gallery.xml"></param>
<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always">
</param><param name="bgcolor" value="222222"></param><embed src="simpleviewer.swf?galleryURL=gallery.xml"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="800" height="600"
bgcolor="222222"></embed></object>

Try replacing it with the following
<object width="800" height="600">
    <param name="movie" value="simpleviewer.swf?galleryURL=gallery.xml"></param>
    <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param>
    <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param>
    <param name="bgcolor" value="222222"></param>
    <embed src="simpleviewer.swf?galleryURL=gallery.xml" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="800" height="600" bgcolor="222222"></embed>
</object>
