Hi there - I can't post screenshots of what it should look like so here is a description - it is not the mobile setting because on an android device, it reformats to mobile.  Only on iPhones it does not.

You should see the logo and then at the top three bars and the words Navigation and be able to click on that and the menu slides open or there is a drop down for the menu depending on the website. That is mobile.  If you see the menu bar across the page and you need to zoom in to read, it is not mobile.  I wish I could post screen shots.  On my desktop if I shrink my screen, it changes to mobile responsive. On an Android, it is mobile responsive.  On iPhones it is not. I did not try a touch - only iPhones and a few of them.

So it is not a site wide theme setting as on some devices are showing mobile responsive.  And I know it is Simpleviewer vs. the theme because if I disable simple viewer the site goes mobile responsive on the iPhone.

On Wiremillbbq.com I looked for viewport and mobile in the header.php and neither word appears in that file.

This is also happening on sites using Canvas from Woo themes. you can see here:
http://www.wiremillbbq.com and if you change to the desktop version of this mobi site:  http://www.davidscatering.com
This never happened before so I am wondering what changed.  How do I remove that code below?

Hi there
When I activate the version 2.3.2.1 of simple viewer, my site is not mobile responsive on iPhones!  It is on android devices but not iPhones.  You can see the site in action here:

http://www.newfieldclub.org

If I disable simpleviewer, the site is responsive on the iPhone as well.

Is there a fix for this? Thank you!
Jennifer

Thanks for the reply. I saw this on another post but if I copy the below and then in WP Dashboard navigate to simple viewer galleries and then edit my gallery and at the bottom paste the code below, the code disappears after I save and exit the gallery.  So there must be something I am doing wrong.   Where is the "Juicebox"?

Here is the code I was pasting:

<simpleviewergallery useFlickr="true" flickrImageCount="100" flickrGroupId="589753@N25" thumbPosition="BOTTOM" titlePosition="NONE" captionPosition="OVERLAY_BOTTOM" buttonBarPosition="OVERLAY" buttonBarVAlign="TOP" buttonBarHAlign="RIGHT" showNavButtons="false" showAutoPlayButton="true" showOpenButton="true" showFullscreenButton="true" buttonBarScale="1" buttonBarBackOpacity="0.5" buttonBarPadding="20" showImageNav="HOVER" showToolTips="true" imageScaleMode="FILL" maxImageWidth="1200" maxImageHeight="800" showOverlay="HOVER" imageTransitionType="FLASH" imageFrameStyle="NONE" frameWidth="0" embedWidth="800" embedHeight="560" autoPlayOnLoad="false" imagePreloading="PAGE" imageClickMode="NAVIGATE" thumbWidth="50" thumbHeight="50" thumbColumns="12" thumbRows="1" thumbNavPosition="CENTER" captionDropShadow="true" flickrTitleFontColor="#cccccc" flickrTitleFontSize="18" captionPadding="20" imageNumberFontSize="10" thumbFrameWidth="0" thumbLoadBarHeight="10" imageNavStyle="CURSOR" captionFontSize="14" thumbHoverFrameWidth="2" embedColor="000000" hideOverlayOnTransition="true" lockBottomStack="true" imageTransitionTime=".5" flickrImageSize="LARGE" stageBorder="0" captionBackOpacity="0.5" stageVPadding="5" flickrTags="flower" flickrShowPageLink="false" flashBrightness="1.8"></simpleviewergallery>

Hi I have no idea where to find documentation on how to create the macro view for galleries like this: http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewe … les/macro/
Can you tell me where the documentation is?  This is for Wordpress SVPro.
Thx

Hi there

We just upgraded wordpress after a malware attack and now when we go to our simpleviewer galleries we get Gallery XML not found.  See here:  http://www.ardentdisplays.com/portfolio … materials/

On the back end, on a page, if I try and click the little simpleviewer icon to insert a new gallery on a new page, the popup box refreshes to a 404 Page not found:

http://www.ardentdisplays.com/wp-conten … config.php?

Can you guide me as to where i should start to look to fix this problem?  Thank you!

JC

Oh, or regenerating thumbnails. That is also a waste of time.

Just remove all your images and re-upload them.

After several hours, the site is working.

For anyone who has this problem, the way I fixed it is this:  delete all the images in your gallery and re-upload them.

Things that do not work and just waste time:

  • deactivating/removing/reinstalling the plug-in
Changing the permissions on the files to 777
adding one image on the page to "refresh" the connection
    clearing your cache
    deleting and recreating your galleries

This would be a good thing to put in the documentation.  Make sure you print out the listing of images and the sort order first so you don't lose all that work!

JC

I have now deleted the plug-in, went in through FTP and removed the plug-in folder and re-installed.

This is STILL a problem.

Please get back to me ASAP as we are live. I paid for this program as it seemed an excellent program to use.  I will continue to look on your forum for answers.

Hi there

Just worked out all the kinks and went live with my website. So I moved the WP install from a temporary folder to the root.  EVERYTHING is fine except SVPro is BROKEN!!  NONE of the images load!

HELP!!

JC

Yes that did work - at least on the iPhone.  I am happy that my easing slider also works.  And thank goodness that plugin lets you turn it off.  Thank you for your assistance.

Hi there
Using the new SV Wordpress Pro plugin.
When I look at my gallery on a browser without flash or on my iPhone I see no main image and the thumbnails are just the boxes with question marks.

http://ardentdisplays.com/temporarysite … /temporary

if I uncheck "use flash" on the gallery, nothing is displayed at all on the iPhone or browser.  I thought that I read that this program will check if the browser supports flash or not and if it does, will show the flash version, and if not will not show it.

Can you let me know if I have left out a step? We are trying to launch this today.
Thanks!!!!!!
JC

Perfect!  This is the pro version, and I put the settings below in the Pro Options section and it worked perfectly! Thank you very very much!!!! :)

I did order the images correctly - had to clear my browser cache.  Sorry about that.  But the thumbnail question is still outstanding.  Do you have any suggestions?

PS I am using WordPress 3.1 I forgot to mention that.  Thanks

Hi there
I would like to change the order of the photos. I have tried by adding an order under the "Actions" column in my page gallery and choosing to order by menu order, but this does not seem to work. Any suggestions?

Next, my thumbnails are cropping to a square size using the smallest dimension (width) so the images are cut off at the top and bottom (My images are all tall).  I have changed the sizing that I would like the thumbnails to be in the Media section under settings and changed the dimensions there (150 x 100) and I have used regenerate thumbnails AND rebuild thumbnails plugins and still, my thumbnails are cut off at the bottom and top on the simpleviewer. How can I change the thumbnails so either a) they are rectangle and not square or b) so that they add space on to the width instead of cutting off the top and bottom.

Thanks!
