Thanks for that thorough explaination. So....

To clarify, I would create 1 gallery for each page and save them in there own folder within the website folder, then I would transfer all folders / files to my web server/web host.

I would also copy the html from SV builder onto my page, then upload all folders/files to my web host.

So, the gallery address would be as an example....

www.garyhornephotography.co.uk/flowers/gallery 1 ??

or

www.garyhornephotography.co.uk/flowers - as the the html was automatically put on by me in the design stage like this....

Within the Embeding guide, this is what I find confusing...

" Copy the entire contents of your SimpleViewer gallery folder into the folder that contains your HTML page "

When you create the slideshow and save, thats all okay.

Within the saved file, you have a galler.xml, images, svscore etc.

What file do a drag/save/move into the pages folder.

If all, then thats were I get the merge request.

Thanks

Sorry, my apologies.

Yes I am using SV builder to create the slideshow, then copying the html code and embeding into the page.
I am then saving the slideshow into a folder within the pages folder. i.e flowers folder, portraits folder etc
Then I am dragging the slideshow files to the pages folder.

I have a website folder, within that I have a images folder and a pages folder.
Within the pages folder, I have set up a flowers, portrait, HDR and scenary folders and saved each
     slideshow in there respected folders.

When embeding the html code within the page, there is no dotted lines across the page. So because of this and possibly mis-understanding the "how to" text, I believed that I had to extract the respected folders and place them into the pages folder on there own, hence the merge request.

Am I right in saying that I can have the respected folders within the pages folder, but only add the gallery xml file into the pages folder.

Thanks

Good afternoon,
Have believe I downloaded V2 of SV (the free one).
I am a amateur photographer, trying to create a website.
I have a Portraits, Flowers, Scenary, HDR pages.
I have created a Flowers gallery and saved the gallery, SVscore etc files where the pages are located and I can view the gallery via my C://Drive and even adjust the size aspect.
But when I try and create another gallery for another page and try and save it in the pages folder, its asking me to merge i.e SVscore etc.
I can I create multiple galleries and save them within the pages folder.

Love the Postcode viewer.

Thanks

Good morning,

Is it possible to intergrate Pay Pal, Google Checkout or E-Commenrce as a whole into SV.

I am trying to create a website through DW CS5 and once established was hoping to sell images.

Has anyone got a website where they currently use SV and e-commerce that I could view.

Thanks

Good morning everyone,

Okay following on from my last post and watching a video on you tube, I have now established the cotrrect way in using SV and the amending the gallery in DW CS5, however I can see my image in the thumbnail on the left, but when the image is clicked all that appears is a white cross where the image should be.

Has anyone got any suggestions.

I opened the gallery in DW CS5 and added my website around the code and only change the file ref on the link and all fine when viewing on IE, but only able to see a white cross although the image can be clearly seen in the thumbnail on the left.

Thanks

I dont have a URL at the moment, just a local host.
Are we saying that in loacal host we cannot see the slideshow, but if my site is "live" will we see the slide show.

How does the code look with it embeded, I dont think I did anything wrong.

Thanks

Good afternoon,

I generated a SV gallery for the pages on my site and copied the whole SV folder of galleries to where my HTML pages are stored.

I then copied the embeded coded into the HTML page, saved and clicked to review and nothing, not a this.

Here is the full HTML code for 1 of the pages.

*************************************************************************************************

I downloaded SVmanager V2 and drag and drop my "portrait" photos.

This generated a small HTML text to "embed".

I then saved the file within my dreamweaver site files within its on folder, but how....

Do I incorporate the HTML of the simple viewer into my "portrtait" page...

I put it in between the <body> tags and nothing.

Any ideas....

Thankyou in advance.
