Re: I don't see the gallery on my website

do you mean the .xml page? if so, where? i've tried adding code to the top, bottom, middle, and it doesn't seem to work...

Re: I don't see the gallery on my website

No, the link would have to be placed in the HTML page into which the gallery is embedded.
You could perhaps add a link to a header or side menu.
See the examples here: http://simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/su … #resizable

Re: I don't see the gallery on my website

i have at least 2 html folders for each gallery. for example in my painting gallery i have an index.html and paintings.html.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v14/e … prtscn.jpg

and they both seem to be the same. which is...

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
    <title>SimpleViewer Gallery</title>
</head>

<body>
<p><!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
    $(document).ready(function () {
        SV.simpleviewer.load('sv-container', '100%', '100%', '000000',true);
    });
// --></script>
</p>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<p><!--END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED --></p>
</body>
</html>

am i supposed to place code in one of those? do i have to dl jQuery? sorry still confused...

Re: I don't see the gallery on my website

i have at least 2 html folders for each gallery.

You should really only need the index.html in each gallery folder.

Download the example, add <script type="text/javascript" src="../js/sv.vertical.template.js"></script>  the header and footer divs to your HTML and upload the sv.vertical.template.js to your gallery folder.

do i have to dl jQuery?

The new SimpleViewer embed method, using svCore, includes jQuery.

Re: I don't see the gallery on my website

can you give me a code example of how the index.html should look? I can't seem to figure it out. i followed all the steps and the page still looks the same. only difference i made was uploading the horizontal js instead of vertical and changing the code you wrote to horizontal. i'm really not sure what to do. I would like the header to read 'drawings, paintings, etc.' for people to click on.

Re: I don't see the gallery on my website

sorry to open this topic back up, but i would still to have a vertical header on my page with links.

if this is my index.html-

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
    <title>SimpleViewer Gallery</title>
</head>

<body>
<p><!--START SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED -->
<script type="text/javascript" src="svcore/js/simpleviewer.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
    $(document).ready(function () {
        SV.simpleviewer.load('sv-container', '100%', '100%', '000000',true);
    });
// --></script>
</p>
<div id="sv-container"></div>
<p><!--END SIMPLEVIEWER EMBED --></p>
</body>
</html>

and i want the header 'Drawings' with this url: http://theartofhorror.com/svDrawings/drawings.html

can you input it for me? cut and paste the link and any other html and show me where it goes?

Re: I don't see the gallery on my website

Your best option would be to use the View Vertical Resizable Gallery with Header Example as a template and modify it for your own use.
