Topic: Embedded AutoViewer are black

I have not find this question on your site but I can be wrong, sorry if its so
My page with the AutoViewer area are black when I uppload it.
I have done the gallery in Airtight AuotoViewer in Bridge and it`s working fine, but
when I insert it in a a webbpage by Dreamweaver it won`t work
I have done a page, and in that HTMLpage I have insert code..
(<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
<div id="flashcontent">AutoViewer requires JavaScript and the Flash Player.
<a href="">Get Flash.</a></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var fo = new SWFObject("autoviewer.swf", "viewer", "800", "600", "8", "#181818");
I see a message "AutoViewer requires JavaScript ......." but when I try to see my page in a browser
my side i only black.
I have also put that HTML side inside that folder Airtight AuotoViewer gallery in my webb.
BUT if I only change my path to "index" in that gallery it works fine .
Try to shortened my problem...
My embedded side only shows a black area, but that index side works fine
When I had my side outside that Airtight AuotoViewer gallery map it did not even show a black rectangel so
I got my side inside that map BUT it shows only a black area.....what`s wrong?
Hope you understand my bad english
Regards Anders

Re: Embedded AutoViewer are black

Make sure the paths to 'swfobject.js' and 'autoviewer.swf' are correct.
With the code you posted, the two files should be in the same folder alongside the HTML page containing the embedding code.

If you continue to experience difficulties, please post a URL to your gallery so that we can take a look.
In the meantime, take a look at the AutoViewer FAQs, several of which deal with 'blank' galleries:
For reference, the 'AutoViewer EMbedding Guide' can be found here: … dding.html

Re: Embedded AutoViewer are black

Your SWF file is named 'viewer.swf' but the reference in your embedding code is 'autoviewer.swf'.
Either rename your SWF file from 'viewer.swf' to 'autoviewer.swf' or change your embedding code from:

var fo = new SWFObject("autoviewer.swf", "viewer", "800", "600", "8", "#181818");

... to:

var fo = new SWFObject("viewer.swf", "viewer", "800", "600", "8", "#181818");
