Topic: Notice: unable to update thumbnail cache for index page

Hi there, installed and everything seem to work fine but i can't get rid of the warning messages
even though images are being uploaded and thumbs etc are displaying

ive checked permissions and they are 777 on the various folders/files
/svManager
/svManager/g1/gallery.xml
/svManager/g1/preferences.txt
/svManager/g1/images
/svManager/g1/thumbs

what am i missing here?

You should have a folder called thumbcache inside your svmanager folder. The purpose of this folder is to hold the thumbnails for the galleries index page. Check that this folder exists. Set the permissions on the folder and any files inside it to 0777. See if this makes any difference.
