Topic: Another Multiple galleries query

I'm using simpleviewer to create a gallery which I've FTP'ed to my webspace.

I love the simplicity.

I'd like to have multiple galleries now and keep it as easy as possible.  I've read the guide but dont quite understand it.

I know I could create a menu webpage and link to the various gallery index files.

I'd prefer to use the top level Index page created by simpleviewer as my menu page.

Can you tell me how to do that?

Re: Another Multiple galleries query

Just realised I used the HTTPhoto GUI first time round to create my gallery

Maybe thats why I get a top level index page.  Looking at the latest simpleviewer it doesnt create one.

Is there an easy way to do what I want?

Re: Another Multiple galleries query

svBuilder creates only one HTML page per gallery (the gallery's HTML index page whose default name is 'index.html').
When opened in a browser, it will display the gallery on its own.
The 'top level index page' to which you refer is likely to be created by HTTPhotos.

If you wish to link to individual galleries from your top level index page:
(1) Upload your complete gallery folders (not just the contents) to your web server
(2) Edit the HTML page into which you would like to insert the links and use code such as:

<a href="">Click here to open Gallery #1</a>
<a href="">Click here to open Gallery #2</a>

... where 'gallery1' and 'gallery2' are your gallery folders.
