Topic: Gallery features duplicate images

This page has a gallery using the "calligraphy" tag from my Flickr photo stream's "Calligraphy" set. Although each image only appears in the set once, for some reason they appear in the gallery more than once.

Is there an easy way to stop SV duplicating images?

Re: Gallery features duplicate images

When using Flickr as a source of images, SimpleViewer sends a search request via Flickr's API (using the Flick configuration options) and simply displays the images returned.

If I view your photostream on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/joweir/) it looks like you have duplicate images uploaded there. There are similar images with different Flickr ID's. For example, you seem to have two images named 'foil place name.jpg', one with a Flickr ID of 8443580300 and the other with a Flickr ID of 8421366055.

Try entering your Flickr settings into Flickr's own API Explorer to see how many images are returned. (You will need to use your Flickr User Id instead of your Flickr User Name for this which you can find using this web page.)
