I would like to setup background picture, not only gradient. if possible not right now, can be implemented in next version?

Yeah, would really love this feature as well as I would like my BG of my site to be seen behind TiltViewer.

BTW, do we get an email when the new version comes out or do we have to keep an eye on this?

Background Transparency is now supported in TiltViewer v1.3. Please check the docs and examples for details: http://www.airtightinteractive.com/proj … /docs.html

Yes you do get an email when a new version is released. All 1.x updates are  provided free of charge.
