I have looked high and low trying to figure this out so hope it is not an incredibly dumb question.
I have checked out the multiple_galleries.fla and it makes sense- the only problem is that my container movie is in as3. Is there any way to pass the    _root.xmlDataPath variable from my as3 container swf to my simpleviewer swf?
Is this where I need to use Local Connection? I am secretly hoping it is not something too complicated to acheive...
