Topic: Some heads are cropped off in portrait thumbnails

Can I crop portraits differently in order to force SVP to display thumbnails of portraits where the head is cut off?  If so, how do I get SVP to use them? I do not want to use the cropped versions as my main photos. Are the thumbs created on the fly from the the images on the server?

How the thumbnails are created depends on how you are building your galleries. You can manually replace the generated thumbnails by replacing the images in the 'thumbs' folder of your gallery folder.

Thanks for responding. I am using LR2 to create the galleries. I have searched my macbook pro OS 10.6 for the gallery folder(s) but they do not show up. (actually, weirdly, they showed up for a second, but then disappeared.)  Can you tell me where they are?
