Topic: "page" 2 back button to "page" 1 breaks

I'm using TV Pro.  I have a gallery that displays 8 images per page.  the gallery ends up being a few pages, as I have around 25 images.

the forward "page" scroll arrows work just fine, and most of the "back" ones work fine as well..  except for the back arrow from "page" 2 to "page" 1.  it's clickable, and something appears to be happening on click, but the photos on "page" 1 never load again.  in fact, the solid boxes onto which they render display for a split second before disappearing - denoting what I gather is an error state.

has anyone seen this?

it's especially odd because the page loads fine initially.  it's only after clicking forward to "page" 2 that makes "page" 1 break.

thank you.

Re: "page" 2 back button to "page" 1 breaks

I just realized something -

I've modified my gallery.xml file to be a php file that requires a session, and expires after it's requested once (by index.html, which sets the session).

to the author(s):

do you know if flash actually requests the xml again when you paginate back to "page" 1?

I wouldn't think it would unless you reload the page again.

but I know little about the mechanics of flash.

it would be sad if it did.  javascript:emoticon(':cry:')

thanks again.

i'm facing the same problem, who can help ?
For page 2, there's no any reload button

Re: "page" 2 back button to "page" 1 breaks

I too am facing the same issue with the free version.  I have a 4 x 4 array of pics using 25 pics total (ie 2 pages worth of images).  I can advance to the 2nd set of images using the reload arrow at the bottom of the tilt display but the arrow is not present under the second set of images to allow me to return to the 1st set of images.  How can this be fixed?  I've tried activating/deactivating the [  fo.addVariable("useReloadButton", "true"); ] general control with no results.

My settings:

<script type="text/javascript">
        var fo = new SWFObject("TiltViewer.swf", "viewer", "100%", "100%", "9.0.28", "#000000");
        // To use an option, uncomment it by removing the "//" at the start of the line
        // For a description of config options, go to:
        // … tions.html
        // To use images from Flickr, uncomment this block
        //fo.addVariable("useFlickr", "true");
        //fo.addVariable("user_id", "48508968@N00");
        //fo.addVariable("tags", "jump,smile");
        //fo.addVariable("tag_mode", "all");
        //fo.addVariable("showTakenByText", "true");
        // To use local images defined in an XML document, use this block
        fo.addVariable("useFlickr", "false");
        fo.addVariable("xmlURL", "gallery.xml");
        //GENERAL OPTIONS
        fo.addVariable("useReloadButton", "true");
        fo.addVariable("columns", "4");
        fo.addVariable("rows", "4");
        fo.addVariable("showFlipButton", "true");
        //fo.addVariable("showLinkButton", "true");
        //fo.addVariable("linkLabel", "Contact Us");
        fo.addVariable("frameColor", "0xFFFFFF");
        fo.addVariable("backColor", "0xCCCCCC");
        //fo.addVariable("bkgndInnerColor", "0xFF00FF");
        //fo.addVariable("bkgndOuterColor", "0x0000FF");
        //fo.addVariable("langGoFull", "Go Fullscreen");
        //fo.addVariable("langExitFull", "Exit Fullscreen");
        //fo.addVariable("langAbout", "About");

Any clues Felix?

Thanks in advance.

To allow navigation back to a previous page, set 'useReloadButton' to false: … tions.html

Re: "page" 2 back button to "page" 1 breaks

Thanks Felix!  This solution worked.  I now have a right and left arrow on the side of the display grid for moving from one set of pics to another.

Out of curiousity, is there a way to use the circular reload button to advance and return between sets of pics?  Alternatively, maybe a way of moving the arrows below the pics .  I have some horizontal space restrictions.

Thanks Again  :)
