Topic: .swf in simpleviewer

When i make a moving picture in flash then export it as a .swf, then upload it on the ftp server to the gallery and finally press buildgallery hoping it works. I find that it never loads, all that shows is a blank thumbnail and it doesnt load, ever , and i need to find a way to play this .swf in the gallery. Is there some action script i need first? or something i need to put in simple viewer. www.forlifephotos.com/forlife/Ryan/ this is the gallery and the second to last thumbnail is the .swf

Felix had mentioned to just add it as you would a picture.. and I tried.. but it gives me a black box and no movie *sigh*

Yes, buildgallery.php probably won't work with SWFs. You will need to create and upload your thumbnail and swf by hand, then create a new image tag in the XML doc like so:

<image>
    <filename>my_swf.swf</filename>
    <caption>Here is my swf!</caption>
</image>

Note also that only simple animated swfs will work. Swfs that use ActionScript are not supported and may not function as expected.
