Topic: nice pics, just wish they were mine :)

finally got VT to work on my new site via my flickr. however, the lovely pictures aren't mine.

here's my site:

www austinrhamilton com/work html

here's my flickr (all photos public):

www flickr com/photos/37651466@N05/

and here's the code i used:

        // To use images from Flickr, uncomment this block
        fo.addVariable("useFlickr", "true");
        fo.addVariable("user_id", "37651466@N05");
        fo.addVariable("tags", "work");
        fo.addVariable("tag_mode", "all");
        //fo.addVariable("showTakenByText", "true");
        // To use local images defined in an XML document, use this block
        //fo.addVariable("useFlickr", "false");
        //fo.addVariable("xmlURL", "gallery.xml");
        //GENERAL OPTIONS
        fo.addVariable("useReloadButton", "false");
        fo.addVariable("columns", "3");
        fo.addVariable("rows", "7");
        fo.addVariable("showFlipButton", "true");
        //fo.addVariable("showLinkButton", "true");
        //fo.addVariable("linkLabel", "View image info");
        //fo.addVariable("frameColor", "0xFF0000");
        //fo.addVariable("backColor", "0xDDDDDD");
        //fo.addVariable("bkgndInnerColor", "0xFF00FF");
        //fo.addVariable("bkgndOuterColor", "0x0000FF");
        //fo.addVariable("langGoFull", "Go Fullscreen");
        //fo.addVariable("langExitFull", "Exit Fullscreen");
        //fo.addVariable("langAbout", "About");

please help! it looks amazing, but will look even better when it's my own stuff!

You are not using swfobject to embed the tiltviewer swf, so tiltviewer can't read any of the options you are setting. Check this page for instructions: … d_example/

Re: nice pics, just wish they were mine :)

so that means i can't use flickr? i was kind of hoping to not have to manually enter the locations of all my files.

and when the tutorial says "the folder that contains my html page"; where do i find that? i'm using a website builder from image cafe, so i don't have a folder or anything to "make" my page.

there's just an option to enter html code, or upload flash/other media files. but it won't let me upload my whole gallery folder, because apparently javascript files aren't allowed.

gah. i want to shoot the internet in the face right now.

any help would be really, immensely, immensely again appreciated!
