Just as a further help, for anyone who might be trying to work this out, the following is the code that I pasted into the existing webpage - (fri_aft.html)
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" width="800" height="650" align="middle">
<param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" />
<param name="movie" value="viewer.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="bgcolor" value="#333333" />
<embed src="viewer.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#333333" width="800" height="650" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" />
</object>
I have tried placing this in a new blank page to test with the same results.
In the same directory are found the index.html page created by Porta, as well as the folders with images and the .xml etc. which are at the same level as the fri_aft.html page.
I have looked carefully at working examples of embedded galleries, but they seem to have been made with the older versions - shown by having the arrow at the bottom of the main picture, or else have completely different code, having been created using Front Page.
Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
Thanks,
Ellie
