Topic: Can't find scripts folder
Hi,
I would like to use the simple viewer with PS CS3 Extended, but there is no scripts folder in Presets, which is where I'm supposed to drop the downloaded software.
TIA !

Hi,

Have you tried creating a new folder called scripts and placing the plug-in in it?
Thank you, yes, I have. To no avail. When I start up PS it doesn't show in File:scripts. There is a default script folder in Plug-ins, but that doesn't work either if I put it in there.
Are you using a Mac or a PC?
I use PC.
Have you tried both the programs folder and documents and settings folder locations?
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Presets\Scripts
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Presets\Scripts
While it is nice to be able to use the script in Photoshop, have you taken a look at the svBuilder air application? It gives you a lot more control and options for building your gallery especially if you ever upgrade to SimpleViewer Pro. Also worth noting the Photoshop plug-in has not yet been updated to the latest release 2.1.2.
I will check these locations, thank you.
