Topic: TiltViewer not Showing Any Images at all in a site.

Hi,

I have decided to contact after failing on finding a solution on the net and the forum for the issue/problem that I am experiencing now using Tiltviewer.

I recently uploaded a site using Dream weaver cs5 on the web server. Using the dream weaver cs5 and following the instructions shown in simpleviewer.net, I was able to embed tiltviewer into a html manually. Most of my tiltviewer galleries i made are 3 X 3 in dimensions. When I preview my html offline, I am able to see the images I want to use for the page and the tilt gallery seems to function properly. 

However, after publishing the site, and when I try to see the page containing the tiltviewer, the tiltviewer is not showing any images at all. Not even one gray color square grid or anything. There is only the background of the Tilt viewer. And in some pages that contains images more than 9 items shows the white arrow, indicating that there are more images than the dimensions 3 X 3. The images that I want to use for the website are all taken by me so I do have the rights to publish these picture publicly.

If I type in the URL www.terraysol.com/images i am able to find the image index. and under the index/Jewleries i am able to find the image that I want to use for my website. so for example if I type...

I am able to see the picture in large scale.

Now, taking example of
http://www.terraysol.com/Terraysol-Our% … 20CDB.html, the xml i used for this is as it shows below.

I am not sure why the images are not showing. I re-uploaded the images and as well as uploaded the whole site again and it showed upload completed with success.

I would appreciate a lot if you can help me on solving this issue, so I can attract many clients using the Tilt viewer to my website.

Your images have file extensions .JPG (note the upper case) but the entries in your gallery XML files end in .jpg (lower case).
These should match as your web server is case sensitive.
eg. In your 'gallery-PBN.xml' file change:

<photo imageurl="images/Jewleries/Neckless/Palha do Buriti/Neckless01.jpg">

... to:

<photo imageurl="images/Jewleries/Neckless/Palha do Buriti/Neckless01.JPG">

Do likewise for the other XML entries.

Dear Steven,

I am glad to say now that, after doing what you told me to do, I am able to see the images on my gallery on my website.

All I did was, I edited the xml files by changing the jpg to JPG (Capital letters) . For example...

<photo imageurl="images/Jewleries/Neckless/Palha do Buriti/Neckless01.jpg">
... to:
<photo imageurl="images/Jewleries/Neckless/Palha do Buriti/Neckless01.JPG">

And uploading it again to the server. And that did the trick.

However, now, I am facing with a new problem. When I go to see my website containing an embedded Tiltviewer, with some web browsers My gallery and Images appears very small.
If I open the website with Google chrome and Safari, My gallery runs well and it seems there is no problem at all. The picture size is satisfying as the way I wanted it to be.
However when I open the website containing Tiltviewer in IE (9) the pictures appears extremely small.
In addition when I open the website containing the Tiltviewer in Firefox, the images in the gallery appears small and as well as the scale of the gallery its self seems to be smaller or different in scale comparing to Safari or Google chrome. (Im not sure what I see on the webpage containing the Tiltviewer by firefox is cropped by height or not)
When I preview the gallery itself with Firefox, the gallery runs well and as well as the images on it. However it seems that I have a problem when I embed the Tiltviewer into a HTML.

In any case, I checked my CSS and set the height of the 'html' and 'body' tags, plus the div that contains TiltViewer all to '100%' for example in the site

Hi Steven,

Once again, you saved my day! I was only giving the body of my html file containing Tiltviewer a 100% height, and I thought that was enough to give the "html" and the contents in it a "100%" height.

However I downloaded again the Tiltviewer's html and saw that there was the followings  between the <style> and </style>.

html {
        height: 100%;
    }
   
    #flashcontent {
        height: 100%;
    }

body {
    height: 100%;
   
}

So I edited this into my html files that contained Tiltviewer between the <style> and </style> and uploaded it to the server.

Now My clients are content, able to see the Images, and I am as well very content on using Tiltviewer to show my gallery.
