Topic: Changing Tumbnail Size in Picassa plugin

Hello!

I'm using picassa2 to generate the simpleviewer files but want 50x50 thumbnails.  The index template file in the SV web folder of picasa appears to have the option to change the thumbnail size but when I change it to 50x50 the thumbnails that are generated are 50x50 but stretched to 100x100.  help!  thanks.  love this product!

I think you have to change INDEX.TPL (not tested!)

Current:
#templatefile -v "1.8" -n "SimpleViewer" -d "Generates a SimpleViewer gallery."

define shadowedThumbnails 0
define thumbnailWidth 100
define thumbnailHeight 100
include imagedataTemplate.tpl
include indexTemplate.tpl
copy assets

Change to:
#templatefile -v "1.8" -n "SimpleViewer" -d "Generates a SimpleViewer gallery."

define shadowedThumbnails 0
define thumbnailWidth 50
define thumbnailHeight 50
include imagedataTemplate.tpl
include indexTemplate.tpl
copy assets

You can't change the size of the thumbnails in SimpleViewer via the Picasa template. To do this requires purchasing SimpleViewer-PRO.

If I purchase SV pro, will I will be able to change the size of thumbnails via the Picassa template?

Changing the thumbnail size requires editing the options.as file and re-publishing the SimpleViewer SWF. Check the documentation here: http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simp … ation.html
