Topic: Gallery XML Not Found

Sorry if this question ha been asked multiple times before but I seem not to be able to solve it, I'm not very good at technical stuff.
Here is my site of which, the gallery is not working right now. The gallery is working fine locally though.
Thx you for your help :)

Re: Gallery XML Not Found

It looks like you have installed and activated WP-SimpleViewer but are not using it.
Your embedding code has the line:

... so the gallery is looking for the file here:

... but it does not exist in this location.
Try using the baseURL method of embedding as documented here: … l#external
For example, upload your SimpleViewer gallery folder (not just the contents) to the root of your web space.
If your gallery folder is called 'mygallery', then the embedding code you would use would be:

<script type="text/javascript" src=""></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var flashvars = {};
flashvars.baseURL = "";
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "800", "600", "222222", true, flashvars);
<div id="sv-container"></div>

(You may wish to change the dimensions of the gallery to suit your page.)

Otherwise, you can create a gallery within WordPress itself by using WP-SimpleViewer and following the instructions here: … pleviewer/

Incidentally, your gallery displays the 'Gallery XML Not Found' message rather than nothing at all because you have installed and activated WP-SimpleViewer and your gallery is using the 'svcore' folder from the plugin, not your current embedding code.

Re: Gallery XML Not Found

Thx you for your prompt response, ya, so what I have to do is to upload the gallery to wordpress :)
Does upload a lot of file affecting bandwidth?
And I would like to use Flickr , somehow I can use the wp-simpleviewer plugin for Flickr but can't use the software for such purpose, it doesn't even return locally.

It has this notion on, maybe something is wrong :) Thx you admin

Re: Gallery XML Not Found

If you choose not to use WP-SimpleViewer, then you will need to upload your gallery folder manually to your web server.

The screenshot you posted shows sv-Builder (not WP-SimpleViewer).
Using your Flickr user name in svBuilder on my computer shows your images locally.
Make sure your firewall settings are not blocking svBuilder from accessing the internet.

It should be much easier for you to create a Flickr-based SimpleViewer gallery using WP-SimpleViewer within WordPress (rather than using svBuilder and then uploading the gallery folder) by following the instructions here: … er/#create
In particular, please see the 'Adding Images from Flickr' section.
