Topic: "Lock" images folder from thieves??

Knowing that all the images are stored in a folder called images on the ftp, most people using SV could easily go onto another persons ftp and swipe the images if they find the right path.

is there a way to password protect this?

yes, check with your host.
You could also re name your image folder to something else like "virus" :)
that may put them off

simple

put a file in their named index.html and then make it so it reads, Directory Listing Denied.
