Topic: Positioning The Next & Previous Arrows

Can it be done by editing the .fla file?

I still use Simpleviewer for many reasons, but I'd prefer that the arrows were outside the image itself, positioned FIXED to the outer edge of the .swf file.  Such as this:

(This gallery is OK, but it takes forever to load every image.  With Simpleviewer, images load sequentially.)

And the arrows don't have to appear on hover, either. they can remain ON all the time.

Comments, anyone?

Re: Positioning The Next & Previous Arrows

You can reposition the image navigation arrows by editing the '' file in a plain text editor and changing lines 235 and 236 (and then publishing a new SWF file as documented here).
For example, to position the image navigation arrows to the outside of the main images, change the code from:

mBackBtn.setBtnPosn(imgx - mBackBtn.clickShift,imgy + h/2  - btnW/2);
mNextBtn.setBtnPosn(imgx + w - btnW,imgy + h/2  - btnW/2);

... to:

mBackBtn.setBtnPosn(imgx - mBackBtn.clickShift - 75,imgy + h/2  - btnW/2);
mNextBtn.setBtnPosn(imgx + w - btnW + 75,imgy + h/2  - btnW/2);

If you choose to move the image navigation arrows to positions that are not relative to the main images (or close to the main images), then the image navigation arrows may overlap other gallery elements (in certain layouts) and you may also have to change the image navigation hit areas in lines 170-175.
Please note that the line numbers above refer to SimpleViewer-Pro v1.9.
