Topic: Creating More Than One Gallery [SOLVED]

Hi there

Just started using Simple Viewer and I am quite impressed. I have a website for my band and create a new active menu for photographs for each gig we complete. I uploaded my first gallery and all works well. When I created an additional gallery it creates the same XML named file. Now when I upload the additional gallery it is going to load the original gallery because both html pages are linked to the original XML file

I tried to edit the second file (embedded code) by creating this additional code
    var flashvars = {};
    flashvars.galleryURL = "friends2009.xml"

But this does not seem to work. Is there a simpler work around for this. I cant believe that I am going to have to create additional folders for each gallery

Any help would be appreciated.

Joe

Re: Creating More Than One Gallery [SOLVED]

Make sure that you add the flashvars variable to the simpleviewer.load() line like in the following example (so that SimpleViewer knows about the galleryURL):

var flashvars = {};
flashvars.galleryURL = "friends2009.xml"
simpleviewer.ready(function () {
    simpleviewer.load("sv-container", "100%", "100%", "222222", true, flashvars);
});

More information about Embed Code Parameters can be found here.
